Fear of Public Speaking
Rebecca is AMAZING!!! I’ve seen several Hypnotherapists in the past, and specifically five different ones for my fear of public speaking. She is the only one who was able to successfully guide me to a place of security and comfort. Her energy is soothing and beautiful, and her skills went beyond anything I had previously experienced. Procrastination and smoking
I was already peripherally familiar with Rebecca and her artwork, so I knew she had a special creative type of mind which made me feel more comfortable with the idea of opening up and trying something new with her, as I had never tried hypnotherapy before. I was confident she would be open-minded and judgment-free.
I did have some reservations with hypnosis itself. I was worried that it wouldn’t work at all and I’d waste my money. Or, I feared it would work too well and make me reliant on hypnosis to accomplish things, or have unintended consequences to my psyche. Of course, neither were true.
The most helpful transformation I had was being able to stop smoking cannabis before work each morning. It was a nasty habit that I completely relied on to deal with the dread and anxiety of the day ahead. Once I got into that routine, breaking the habit felt insurmountable due to the fear and overall unpleasantness I felt every morning. After one session with Rebecca where I visualized a morning without weed, I was able to let go of the fear that was causing the habit and now I haven’t smoked weed in the mornings since.
Rebecca also helped me work through my tendency to procrastinate. I loved how it was tangibly easier to execute on tasks that I had been procrastinating/dreading after visualizing them through the self-hypnosis. This improvement was immensely rewarding for me.
Overall, I was surprised by how easy the therapy with Rebecca was. All I had to do was tell Rebecca what I wanted to improve on and she was able to use her skills to direct me on the right path without having to “poke around under the hood” and identify something specifically “wrong” with me. That is a process I’ve experienced before in conventional therapy, which while not necessarily a bad thing, can often be painful and with the wrong therapist ultimately meaningless. For someone who doesn’t feel the need or have the immediate strength to do deep personal work, and just wants to focus on getting better sooner, Rebecca’s hypnotherapy was a perfect fit. It was just focused on forward motion.

Anxiety
Working with Rebecca allowed my anxiety to truly dissipate. The weeks I had sessions, versus the weeks I didn't, were noticeably calmer. I was more focused and clear headed. The integrative techniques Rebecca brought to our sessions were also life-changing! For example, I learned tapping, which has been a huge help in moments of stress. Having something to ground me, physically, can help me get out of my head. I also appreciated how flexible Rebecca was! Sometimes my schedule would throw the rhythm of our sessions off, but she was always really generous with her time and quick to reschedule. I would recommend Rebecca to anyone who wants judgment-free, thoughtful and goal-oriented help through stressful times.

Succeeding on a Podcast
I had my hypnotherapy session with Rebecca before I was about to be a guest on a podcast, which I was very nervous about. Not only did Rebecca completely ease my nerves, she built up my confidence and created such a warm space for me to open up. Quitting Smoking
I come from a long line of smokers. Like add - smoking - to - the - list - of - necessary - human- functions type of smokers. I never thought I’d truly quit. I replaced cigarettes with vaping briefly from 2017-2021, but I’d never fully quit. I tried everything, too. Medicine, therapy...even hypnosis before. I think what’s different with Rebecca is she’s the type of person who I think truly wants to get to the root of the problem. Where others may slap a bandaid on and call it a day, she really takes time to clean the wound, properly dress it, and send you away with knowledge to keep it from getting infected, if you get my metaphor. Maybe it was that I was finally ready to tackle it, but I do think there is something to be said about having the right people in your corner, and I think that’s reflected in my case.
I can now say I’m almost two full weeks as a non-smoker, and it’s because I was taught to visualize myself as a non-smoker from the start. I’d recommend Rebecca to anyone and everyone who needs help quitting smoking or just anything in life.

Panic Attacks and Anxiety
I was having anxiety & panic attacks. No therapist could help me overcome

Social Anxiety and Low Self-Esteem
I was dealing with a lot of social anxiety. I believe that this stemmed from a lack of confidence and a general low self esteem. Those are two things that I've struggled with for several years. I like that we started from the ground up. Starting with working on my sleep and eating habits put me in a much better position mentally and physically to tackle these issues. I really like how Rebecca walks me through visualizing situations that I can use in my life to help me get through stressful situations. Visualizing my best/ideal self is also very helpful as it gives me a concrete goal to strive for.
Now, I remember that I have tools and techniques that I can use to overcome feeling anxious or nervous. The suggestions we've been working on pop up in my head in relevant situations now. In fact, sometimes I'll actually hear Rebecca’s voice in my head. These techniques and suggestions help me to not feel overwhelmed when I'm faced with a problem or situation that would have made me nervous or anxious before. I now understand that confidence comes from within myself and not how others perceive me. In general I feel better equipped to deal with anxious/stressful situations and I know not to be too hard on myself.

Anxiety and Authentic Self
I’ve dealt with personal and social anxiety for years. Feeling out of place both alone and in groups has made it difficult to enjoy my time and create meaningful relationships, but working with Rebecca has helped immensely by giving me tools to combat anxiety and raise my self-confidence.

Changing Internal Dialogue
I booked a session with Rebecca because a friend spoke highly of her. And being a fellow Asian American I felt a level of comfort and understanding already that allowed me to feel comfortable.
